The course is given by an internist- neurologist who has spent his career working in the interface between internal medicine and neurology.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Perform a focused neurological examination.
  2. Recognize the important causes of altered level of consciousness.
  3. Diagnose and treat the major causes of dizziness.
  4. Diagnose and manage the common headache problems.
  5. Recognize and treat transient ischemic attacks and stroke.
  6. Learn advances in neurological medicine in a potpourri of areas, including epilepsy, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders.
