Clinical questions to be addressed:

Cardiology
1. How long should clopidogrel be maintained after the following scenarios?
• PTCA alone
• PTCA with a bare metal stent
• PTCA with a drug-eluting stent
2. When should clopidogrel be initiated in outpatients with severe CAD?
3. How should echocardiograms be utilized in monitoring asymptomatic patients with aortic valvular sclerosis and stenosis? Should aortic sclerosis or stenosis be an independent indication for statin therapy?
Hepatology
1. In patients with chronic liver disease, clarify the contraindication of medications such as statins, acetaminophen, NSAIDs, and antidepressants.
2. How is NAFLD diagnosed? Is a liver biopsy necessary for diagnosis?
3. Describe the diagnostic workup recommended for asymptomatic transaminitis? Are there patterns of ALT/AST elevation or specific patient characteristics that alter the choice of tests?
Women's Health
1. Define the role of mammography, ultrasonography, and MRI in the breast imaging of a high risk patient.
2. Who should undergo routine HPV testing as part of cervical cancer screening? What is the evidence for an accelerated PAP testing schedule for asymptomatic patients with high-risk HPV? Low-risk HPV?
3. What are the indications and risks of the HPV vaccine? What is the efficacy of the vaccine in those patients already infected with HPV or are off schedule with their vaccination?
