Update in the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to the patient with ACS.
Who should undergo cardiac catheterization and when?
What is the role, if any, of noninvasive post-ACS risk stratification?
What is the role of ACE inhibitors, angiotensin-receptor blockers (ARBs), and statins?
Update on fast-track rule-out MI protocols, including selection and timing of cardiac biomarkers.
Is a stress ECG mandatory in a chest pain unit rule-out MI protocol? If so, is a stress ECG alone enough? Once MI is ruled out, what studies should be done in the chest pain patient? What are the most common causes of non-cardiac chest pain that resembles cardiac chest pain?
