Clinical questions to be addressed:

Participants will:
Obtain insights from internists who are or were leaders in the federal government on how federal health policies are made and how individual internists and ACP can influence public policy (from within and outside of government).
Learn lessons from physician leaders in government who shaped health policy about the challenges of government service gained from their experience.
Obtain the perspectives of Washington insiders who have practiced internal medicine about the impact of current key health policy issues on patient care.
